FASHION & STYLE — Jeanne Hoffman, William Glod Jr.

Jeanne Marie Hoffman and William Davis Glod Jr. were married Saturday in New Rochelle, N.Y. The Rev. Maureen Burwell Pollinger, a minister ordained by the New Seminary for Interfaith Studies in New York, officiated at the Greentree Country Club.
They both work in Arlington, Va., at the Institute for Humane Studies, an affiliate of George Mason University, where they met and which seeks to help students planning careers in academia or nonprofit organizations. She recruits students for the institute and he mentors graduate philosophy students who are interested in becoming professors.
Ms. Hoffman, 30, is keeping her name. She graduated from Villanova and received a law degree from Ave Maria School of Law in Ann Arbor, Mich. She is a daughter of Linda Jean Hoffman and Bryan K. Hoffman of Yonkers.
Mr. Glod Jr., 35, graduated from the University of Texas and received a Ph.D. in philosophy from Tulane. He is the son of Bonnie Weber Glod and Mr. Glod Sr., of Denton, Tex.
